who. characters on the list here.
what. investigation of the shuttle debris + omega - 4 relay
where. SPACE! aka the debris field and omega - 4 relay
when. backdated to last friday (june 7)
warnings. There will be spacewalks. Any number of things can go wrong. 8D
Assembling together a team of disjointed volunteers was nothing new to an old robot like Prowl. The group knew how to follow instructions better than many of his own species. The ones that he'd had the displeasure of working with, anyway.
First order of business was the pre-flight preparation: Gathering everyone to a private location, making count of their assets, clearing and clarifying the roles each person had, and technical instruction. Specifically, instruction with regards to what they'd be looking for with the omni tool scanners, which consisted of a fairly narrow set of electronics parts. Parts that could be used to identify an explosive device.
The second purpose of this meeting was to get all the members of the team acquainted with each other. It was hardly enough time to become entirely cohesive, but if the trip went mostly according to plan, that shouldn't be an issue. With the shuttle transport arranged and set, all that was left was for them to board and begin.
(I'll be splitting up the event into 3-4 parts to be tagged into. Feel free to handwave stuff as it goes along!)

departure - 0/00:00:00
[They were finally off Omega, for the time being. But now the group was stuck in a confined space for a few hours while the shuttle made it's trip towards the debris field.]
[Prowl, for one, wasn't exactly the the friendliest company. He hovered(see: loomed) quietly by the shuttle's pilot chair, waiting to give Joker instructions as soon as they began to near their target. His mind was set on the job, and didn't appear to be in much of a mood for socializing.]
how am i the first one in here!
he might have paid for it in laundered credits but WHO'S ASKING NO ONE OKAY LET'S CONTINUE.he gets everyone settled, tells them to sit down and shut up and keep all hands and feet and robot parts inside the shuttle, and they're ready for take-off. it's a pretty smooth ride, he's gotta say - even though he knows that once he gets enough credits he's going to spend every single one of them on making his baby nice and shiny, inside and out.
prowl is hovering, and good lord not even shepard is this intimidating of a presence when he stands behind his chair. (granted, he doesn't make a habit of doing it very often, but .. still.) he turns away from the console for a second, peering up and over his shoulder, eyebrows slightly raised.
socializing or not, you're on his shuttle, buddy, and if he wants to ask you some questions, he's gonna ask some questions.] So .. you think you could, uh .. hover a little less intimidatingly? You're creeping me out.
IDK
[Hey. Maybe he finds the back of your head interesting. Maybe all the different clusters of shuttle data are cathartic to robots. - Oh alright, fine.]
[He wordlessly takes a one and a half heavy steps back.]
[There.]
Do you have an ETA for the drop point?

After all if she's testing the strength of the safety lines and making sure they were sound, she couldn't be profiling everyone and ranking their threat level that way.]
Re: departure - 0/00:00:00
Every so often he would glance up to watch what everyone else was doing, but otherwise was keeping to himself.]
Re: departure - 0/00:00:00
[Of course Pax remembers Tomar-Re, who wouldn't with a suit that green that wasn't a salarian. She'll just stand near him, her helmet tucked under her arm for the time being.]
Re: departure - 0/00:00:00
Indeed. I'm still very curious as to what caused this explosion. This seemed like to most direct way to gain some revelation on the matter.
[He was glad to see her there, it was nice to have at least one familiar face around on a mission like this]
Re: departure - 0/00:00:00
[She's glad that he found some way to help, although Pax highly suspects they'll find little or nothing out at the actual explosion site.]
Re: departure - 0/00:00:00
[He was glad he had taken the time to charge his ring before leaving for the shuttle. He glanced over to supplies being sorted by the other robot, visually evaluating the tethers.]
debris field - 0/04:41:25
[Perfect for an analysis from the distance. The debris field had been given a thorough scan from the shuttle and from Prowl himself, who had a reconstruction program. Though normally the process would only take a few minutes maximum, the complexity of the field delayed it for nearly an hour, would be how long he stayed magnetically planted to the shuttle's roof..]
[While his mind began to crunch the data he'd just absorbed, the green light was given for the spacewalkers to begin. Life lines were secured and comms were all opened before they were exposed. Time to scan for debris.]

[Still, going into a debris field on only a lifeline made even Pax wary. She did not want to be spaced today.]
Probably our best bet would be finding a piece of a motherboard that either has glycerine or something that would read as a strange radioactive signature on your scanners.
omega-4 relay - 0/08:00:43
[Massive, bright, and imposing, the silhouette of the Omega-4 relay grew larger as the small shuttle began to make an approach run. The core fluctuated vibrantly. Was this a good idea after all?]

her chance at getting home.
regardless, the asari known as amessa sits near the front of the shuttle, leaning against a wall, arms folded. she attempts to appear like she doesn't care one way or another - despite the fact that she'd pushed for this. ]
How much longer, do you think?
