Really, it was good to get out of the residential district for a reason other than work. She hasn't exactly gone out and relaxed in a long time and this feels more than a little overdue. While this situation was still new and confusing, it was time to take a break.

The fact that she was taking one with South might have been a little strange more than a year ago, but right now it seemed pretty much ideal. South was the only other person here who had been exactly where she'd been besides North, and going out without the strange discontent she's felt lately sounded fantastic.

Still, she hadn't been counting on so many blue dancers. She leaned back in her seat in the booth, idly rolling her neon looking drink in her hand with a slightly bemused expression. "I'm pretty sure this place won out on aliens."

"Hey, it's either you or me. Even I know you'd be better about it." Still, if neither of them were that great at first impressions, that would certainly make this more interesting. If only they had someone a little less... intense... around to introduce them.

Then again, if it was going to be entirely up to them, then maybe they should just go for it.

South quickly finished off her drink (there wasn't much left, anyway), scooted toward the edge of the booth a bit. "Hey, you know what? Come on. Let's go try anyway."

Best case: they get blue alien ladies. Worst case: a fight starts. All told, Sough would be fine with either of these outcomes.

She has to give a slight shrug at that- because it's true. Of the two of them she's the most likely to smooth things over with these alien babes.

But then South is suggesting that they go try their luck anyway. And Carolina's eyebrows raise at the idea, but she's looking over at the ladies dancing and has to shrug again. Knock back the rest of her own drink. "Hell, why not?"

Carolina is pushing out of the booth and making her way across, because there's nothing to lose here. If they get thrown out, too bad. "Got any pickup lines?" she wondered, smirking just slightly over her shoulder at South.

South almost didn't think Carolina would actually go for it, so seeing the redhead exit the booth and willingly start that way was a bit of a surprise. It was also enough to set her grinning as she pulled herself out of her seat and followed.

"Only ones that I've punched people for." She shrugged, clearly not sorry for punches past. "We could try them anyway."

She was willing to get into a little trouble right now, and trouble sounded like it might actually be pretty entertaining. Even if that trouble was with gorgeous blue women.

She didn't expect South to be sorry for any of that- and hell, she's not sorry for the people she's had to 'turn down' in the past either- but she can't help but be amused. Picturing South in situations like this and having to deck the poor jerks who decided to use a line on her is...well amusing at best. "Why not? Maybe they'll be new to these ladies."

She snorted, thinking back to everything that's ever been used on her. "Guess I should try to remember one of the good ones then, huh?"

About a second later, she thought that maybe she had something in mind.

And by the time they got close enough to even speak to the ladies, South had a smirk in place and confidence to back it up, because she figured she really didn't have anything to lose right now. She stood close enough to one of the dancers to be heard, waited until she had her attention.

"My friend and I," she nodded toward Carolina, "were just enjoying the view from a distance. Mind bringing the show over our way?" And then of course, she had to add, "Pretty sure we're more appreciative than these guys." Because of course she had to show up the other spectators in the process.
