You’re not sure how it happened.
A minute ago, you had somewhere to go, someplace to be. Maybe something important to do, or maybe you were just going out to buy groceries. Whatever it was, it doesn’t matter anymore.
You’re in some kind of transport -- a shuttle, given the turbulence and the sounds outside. You’re surrounded by strangers, some of whom might not even be the same species you are. There’s no point in asking. They don’t know how they got here either. The cockpit’s blocked off, like someone forgot to put in a door, and not even a glance at your omni-tool -- a holographic interface accessible by merely tapping the sensor on your left arm -- is any help.
You’ve only got a minute or so before the shuttle starts descending. There aren’t any windows -- this doesn’t look like a shuttle meant for long trips. When it finally touches down, the doors open automatically.
Before you are landing pads, abandoned equipment scattered about. There are other shuttles landing, and whether you like it or not, you’re going to have to get off before yours dumps you out the door. Turn around, and you’re met with a hazy skyline, only half the buildings seem to be coming from above.

[ But once he's actually spoken (and it is a dude apparently), what's said is a near startling kind of familiar. She'd thought it'd only been her, and that Abax had some how fucked up in not erasing her memories after, or sticking her back where she should be. It's the 'Again' that causes concern. ]

[ Yeah, no, Wash, just leave it right there, man. He'd gotten into a heap of trouble on Sacrosanct with seeing things he wasn't supposed to, and it figures he's doing the same here.
He lets out a sigh at the question, rubbing the back of his helmet, and looks up at the hazy skyline, shaking his head at all the signs of life. That's the strangest thing about this place. ]
I mean I've already done this song and dance before. Spent a year and a half trapped on another space station. No way home. People sometimes vanished, but... [ He shakes his head. ] I never thought I'd end up in another universe entirely.

[ There's a handwave and she's not really worried about that part. She's used to getting looks by now, good, bad or otherwise. More to the point.
She's looking a little more concerned that Jack might normally on a regular day. None of this sits well with her. ]
More likely than you know. [ A snort. Freaking Abax. But he's obviously not used to this place - not Omega alone, all of it. It's like Abax all over again, people bleeding in from everywhere. Maybe dimensions started tearing all over. That's some scary shit... ] I'm guessing things like 'Asari' or 'Mass effect relay' mean nothing to you, right?

[ He glances, around, eyes travelling over the mass of people arriving and the aliens already present, and his brow furrows at the sight of some of them. It's been some time, but some look more familiar than others. ]

People hopping dimensions isn't that new to me. It's new to this universe, but I'd been plucked out before already. Weird as hell that I come back to it happening at home, though.
