You’re not sure how it happened.

A minute ago, you had somewhere to go, someplace to be. Maybe something important to do, or maybe you were just going out to buy groceries. Whatever it was, it doesn’t matter anymore.

You’re in some kind of transport -- a shuttle, given the turbulence and the sounds outside. You’re surrounded by strangers, some of whom might not even be the same species you are. There’s no point in asking. They don’t know how they got here either. The cockpit’s blocked off, like someone forgot to put in a door, and not even a glance at your omni-tool -- a holographic interface accessible by merely tapping the sensor on your left arm -- is any help.

You’ve only got a minute or so before the shuttle starts descending. There aren’t any windows -- this doesn’t look like a shuttle meant for long trips. When it finally touches down, the doors open automatically.

Before you are landing pads, abandoned equipment scattered about. There are other shuttles landing, and whether you like it or not, you’re going to have to get off before yours dumps you out the door. Turn around, and you’re met with a hazy skyline, only half the buildings seem to be coming from above.

Someone needs to find out what's going on. [She'll shrug and give him a smile despite everything. She can handle his teasing for the most part.]

Guess this is one of the worst pit stops we've mad in a while.

[well, it's good that she can handle his teasing after everything they've been through together. and it really doesn't mean that he's ever going to knock it off, either - on the contrary, it just might mean that he carries on a little further than he should.]

Of course they do .. and that someone might as well be you, right? Who's better fitted for the job?

[he pauses, and nods just the slightest bit, because she's right, especially considering what they're in the middle of.] Could be worse .. I mean, at least we're not in any real - never mind, scratch that. There's danger all over this damn place and we know it.

If you mean who knows the most out of any of us, then yes.

[Liara will sigh and look at the Omega skyline with a grim stare.]

It's safer than some of the places Shepard has dragged us, although it probably is a bigger risk for you than most. I just hope we get off these landing pads soon.

Yeah. That. [sure. let's go with that.]

I guess you're right about that .. but still, if the powers that be chose to bring us here, I'd really like to know why. Because what the hell. There's nothing here. Especially after Cerberus wrecked it.

You and I both, this is currently the last place I want to be. [And not only because she made a few enemies here on her last visit to Omega.]

I thought the smouldering rubble just added a nice new feature to Omega's picturesque atmosphere.

[you should tell him about that sometime. it sounds like a neat little bedtime story.

but he has to snort for that.] I think you're right, there .. all we need is a way to feng shui this place and it'll be as good as new.

[It's the kind of bedtime story that might actually give Joker nightmares, either that or change a few opinions he has about Liara.]

Feng Shui, I think Omega might need a little more than that to make it look anything resembling new.

[well now he has to wonder just what opinions he might be changing if he heard that story.]

It's a start, though, isn't it?

[That sweet innocent nature isn't as honest as he'd like to think. It's a surprising twist.]

Maybe putting a rug over the rubble will make the place feel a little more homey.

We can't really sweep it up there's...well there is just too much of it. I think I saw a few Cerberus bodies piled in a corner as well. This place just seems to keep it's charm every time I come to visit.

[Maybe they'll have drinks and she'll tell him all the stuff she knows waaaay too much about, or the people she's killed with her mind.]
