[Omega wasn't exactly a vacation spot, but it wasn't knee-deep in Reaper territory either. Shepard and the crew had had something of a reprieve from the war even if Shepard was still pissed he was stuck on the space station.

And now the war had found him again. It was time to get back to work. How ironic would it be to have helped Aria take Omega back only to lose it to Reapers? On top of that, the newcomers to the universe probably had no idea what was going on.

That explains why Shepard is out and armed to the teeth. He hasn't taken a break since the first Adjutant sighting. He's operating on caffeine, discipline, and the fact that he's just plain pissed.

He's not cutting corners either, throwing himself into larger groups to clear out safe areas for people. Vanguards are always a force to be reckoned with, and Shepard is no exception.

So maybe you're in over your head, maybe you're trying to help out, or maybe you just don't have a clue what's going on. Whatever the case, Commander Shepard is probably in your area.]

[Luckily for Kengo, a few minutes is something he's about to have thanks to Shepard. Shepard's engaged with a few Adjutants, and their fight is spilling over into the street Kengo is close to. There's the sound of gunfire here and there before Shepard unleashes a powerful shockwave biotic to knock the group back.

Then he proceeds to take their heads off one by one with his deadly shotgun. Though he's obviously got the advantage, he does look slightly worn down from his day of fighting.]

[As soon as Kengo hears the gunshots approaching, he takes a deep breath and stands up to go towards the source, unsure if it's someone helping the fight or another group of mercenaries shooting at anything that moves. Of course, as soon as he tries to get up, he stumbles and falls right back to his knees and curses to himself as he tries to force his body to listen to him.

Another minute or two and while he's aggravated by the delay, he's up and on his way to Shepard. By the time he gets over to the Commander's position however, it looks as though everything's been taken care of.

At least that seemed to answer his question about whether the other was in danger or not. Kengo stands a few yards behind him, trying to make himself look as unthreatening as possible -- which when you're a high schooler dressed in a school uniform, isn't hard to do.]

Are you all right?

[Yeah, Shepard doesn't exactly register Kengo as much of a threat. That question also makes him wave a hand a little before glancing around to make sure they're pretty much alone.]

That's a question I'm used to asking myself. I'm fine.

[Not hearing the distinctive sounds of the adjutants leaves Kengo with the impression that he can at least take a few minute break to get his bearings back. Though, he can't stand being completely inactive and after a few seconds he lifts his omni-tool back up to make sure his alert message is still being sent out, as well as to see if anyone has sent him more information.]

Their numbers don't seem to be going down, but I haven't figured out where they're coming from yet.

Yeah, that's a problem we've all been having.

[He looks annoyed, but that's kind of a normal thing with him. In any case, they at least seem to be safe and alone for the moment.]
