[Omega wasn't exactly a vacation spot, but it wasn't knee-deep in Reaper territory either. Shepard and the crew had had something of a reprieve from the war even if Shepard was still pissed he was stuck on the space station.

And now the war had found him again. It was time to get back to work. How ironic would it be to have helped Aria take Omega back only to lose it to Reapers? On top of that, the newcomers to the universe probably had no idea what was going on.

That explains why Shepard is out and armed to the teeth. He hasn't taken a break since the first Adjutant sighting. He's operating on caffeine, discipline, and the fact that he's just plain pissed.

He's not cutting corners either, throwing himself into larger groups to clear out safe areas for people. Vanguards are always a force to be reckoned with, and Shepard is no exception.

So maybe you're in over your head, maybe you're trying to help out, or maybe you just don't have a clue what's going on. Whatever the case, Commander Shepard is probably in your area.]

[Shepard is space jesus, of course he's doing better than Liara is. He can do almost anything.

But Liara will turn and give a small if tired smile when he approaches.]

[Shepard will return the smile and move to offer her a hand.]

You look worn out. I think I've got a free schedule right now if you'd like an escort back to Mordin's clinic.

[She'll take his hand and get to her feet.]

I think Mordin likely has his hands full as it is with people who can't fight. I'm fine, just a little tired.

Unfortunately the Reapers don't need sleep. We're going to have to find out where they're coming from and hit them hard.

[He says it like he's already got some plans in motion.]

I assume you already have a plan of action?

[When doesn't Shepard have a plan? Although Liara wants to know what kind of plan and who is going to die in the process.]

[He can't help a slight smirk as he shrugs.]

We'll see. For now we've got to push them back and get a foothold before we try anything. And this may not be new to us, but there are a lot of people on Omega now that don't even know what Reapers are. We might need to start educating them.

I've met a few of those people. Some are capable when it comes to fighting if nothing else, but I should give you this if you're thinking about planning some kind of attack.

[She'll open up her omni-tool and transfer what looks like a map of the area with little glowing blue dots on it that are moving around.]

It's not all of them but I've been tagging and tracking the adjutants I've been getting information about. The red dots are dead ones. Perhaps it can be of some use to you.

[Shepard takes a moment to check the map before nodding.]

Reapers don't like to leave any bodies unused. They'll come back for the dead ones.

[Now Shepard can divide and conquer in style.]

[He glances at her for a moment. He looks tired, but at least he's not as stretched as he was actually fighting the war. Omega is actually slightly more relaxing. Go figure.]

Ran into an issue with four adjutants and a gas line a little earlier but I'm doing better now.

[She'll give him a flash of a smile and close her omni-tool.]

You look like you could use a rest though, Shepard.

I'll rest when the war is over.

[He gives her a reassuring nod as he attempts to change the subject.]

You feel up to taking down some more? Some backup would be nice.

And you'll sleep when you're dead I'm sure.

[It worries her but she'll go with the change of subject.]

I think I can take down a few more before I might need to go lie down for a while.

[She'll gesture for him to lead the way.]

[He doesn't really answer her comment about sleeping when he's dead since that's exactly how he feels. No need to really voice that to the crew though.

In any case, he puts on a confident smirk and takes point, glowing with biotic power for split-second as he takes off towards the next group of adjutants.]

[Liara will sigh and follow at a jog, trying to keep up and not get mauled in the process.

Of course she does manage to help him take down a few of them without too much issue, especially with Shep zipping around slamming into things and punching them.]
