who. Isaac Clarke, Tony Stark and Steve Rogers
what. Roomies to be.
where. Zeta District
when. Shortly after Isaac's arrival. (exact date will be here one day)
warnings. Language, mostly. Angry men with scary levels of intelligence. Empty threats, probably.

"Shit."

A harsh, frustrated sigh followed by a series of clicks of static. For a moment, he thought he saw a flicker of light in front of him, familiar and a small sliver of hope.

"Norton? Carver?" No response. Not even another minuscule burst of static.

"You've gotta be fucking kidding me." Those words came out louder, harsher than any others had been in some hope that they would be able to help ease away the anger and frustration pulsing in his veins. It didn't help, not at all.

"How the fuck am I supposed to help Ellie if I can't even figure out what the hell is going on?" His hand moved, slamming against the wall nearest him with a resounding thump. His head fell forward, shoulders bunched and the blue eyes pressing to a tight close as his jaw clenched. He tried to find something in him to calm his nerves, anything to help tame the anger he felt clouding his mind.

He shifted to the side so he could get out of Isaac's way and let him further into the apartment. Steve gave Tony a long suffering look at the comment too. Why did the older man insist on being difficult? He could understand the uncertainty but this was ridiculous.

"He can't leave it outside. Someone will steal it," he chided and turned back to Isaac.

"Gun or not, still looks like it could do some damage and considering how you pointed it at me I'm guessing it'll kill people. I'd like to ask you leave it on the counter, out of reach."

As a compromise between Isaac and stupid here.

It's not being difficult when you have mild offense at offering a complete stranger a free pass into your home while carrying something that could easily transfer into a weapon. Tony has made guns, many, many guns in his life, and he's had some of them aimed back at him, so he's rightfully paranoid.

Tony utterly ignores that look from Steve and jumps inside to tidy up the place a little, hopefully before Isaac can see them. Like some very particular design specs on some transfer paper, equations for very specific things like arc reactors and armors, and various tidbits of metal and wiring littering the couch.
