All right, Rachel wouldn't call him scary, but there's definitely something imposing about him. Almost intimidating. He's definitely got the tall and dark parts off "tall, dark and handsome" down. Well, and the handsome part. But Rachel is neither charmed nor intimidated by him. And just to prove her point, she lifts her chin and holds his gaze, raising bothy eyebrows. He might be taller than her, but she's still pretty tall for her age.

"You'd think you'd be panicking with the rest of them by now," Rachel observes. "You know, what with all the explosions and getting yanked out of your own universe. And yet somehow, you don't look too impressed."
