"I'm sorry," Elena shifts a little uncomfortably because she knows what it's like to be on the receiving end of that kind of treatment. She's had more than one friend tell her to just stay away for a while. It's never an easy thing to be told and it's even harder to adhere to, but Elena always does out of respect. It's worse than not seeing anybody at all though whether or not you do as they ask.
