time for walkies [OPEN]
who. Agent Carolina and ANYONE
what. during the general panic, carolina takes freya the varren out for a walk.
where. walking around the residential district, mostly, with a detour into the markets to get freya some roasted pyjack meat 8)
when. mid-day
warnings. freya probably chews on things. carolina isn't a whole lot nicer.
Raising a varren hadn't been the easier task in the world so far, but it was generally a pretty rewarding one. For as mindlessly savage as most of the reports called them, Freya seemed keen to learn to behave herself. It was a welcome distraction from all the noise outside, the problems that were happening in Omega that she either did not understand or could do nothing about. Neither situation was one she enjoyed, and her own training could only distract her so much.
So getting the basics of sit, stay, roll over and what not into Freya's head seemed like a welcome way to fill in the gaps.
The command heel was being worked on now, but it seemed almost impossible at the moment. Freya was still a 'puppy' after all and the sights, smells, and sounds of Omega beyond their apartment were very distracting to her. Carolina wasn't known for her patience but she tried, stopping occasionally to make the varren sit, wait, and then resume their walk when she thought she had her full attention again.
For a first trip, this wasn't going too poorly.

Someone that isn't a krogan. Walking a varren. Like it's the most natural thing in the world - except, okay, on Omega? It isn't exactly that out of place.
He's not really on his way to anywhere important; he'd thought about stopping by the docking bay to make sure his shuttle is still in one piece (because the last time he'd left it alone for longer than two minutes, Stiles had managed to dent the poor thing) but he hasn't quite made up his mind yet, and when he bumps into Carolina, he can't help but to be amused that she's trying to teach the thing manners.
Which means he just has to open his mouth. "You really think that's gonna work?"

Carolina looked up from Freya to see who it was who had commented, frowning just slightly. Freya was much less forward, of course, moving around behind Carolina to keep her owner between herself and the newcomer, looking around her legs curiously- but cautiously.
And here she thought they'd been working on that. "Doesn't hurt to try, does it?"
