Kengo could have easily spent all day trying to make the other prove that it was really him. Anything could easily be faked, or maybe even some sort of delusion brought on by his emotional state ever since arriving... Except... he really didn't want to repeat what he'd done before. He'd doubted Ryusei so much and pushed the other away enough that the other boy had been avoiding him for weeks without speaking to them. What if Gentarou was the same? ... not that he figured Gentarou would ever do something like that, but...
At the familiar feel of the handshake, Kengo took a deep breath, a small laugh leaving him that was mixed in with his crying. Even if it wasn't him... Something like this, with that much energy, couldn't really be someone else, could it?
Kengo waited until Gentarou finished with his trademark handshake, then immediately dove forward and tightly wrapped his arms around the other boy's waist. Within seconds, Kengo broke down completely, sobbing into Gentarou's shoulder as he tightly grasped at the back of the other's jacket.
