arrival [open]
who. Starscream (AU) and open to all
what. arrival
where. open area
when. now
warnings. very irate, panicky and on-edge robot-jet flying at dangerous speeds
Clear of the unknown shuttle that had transported him without his permission or recollection, in an open place with enough air to move, and finding no one from the Nemesis responding to his comm, Starscream's composure cracked. Where the frag was he? Sudden changes in location like this were not good in his experience, the labs.... Though part of him noted how he was in a relatively open space with no one trying to confine him, a larger part of him was on high alert and thought capturedcapturedCAPTURED--
Composure cracked, Starscream transformed into jet mode and blasted through the strange city, barely missing the buildings.
WherewashewherewasheWHEREWASHE--Starscream tried the comm again, set his sensors on high alert, and kept his optics clear for any clue on what the frag was going on or where he was, for any of his comrades, and for any possible attack.

You might just find a Decepticon beacon set up just for you!
It's in a remote area skirting the residential structures of the station, actually. There was still quite a bit of repair to be done, and some areas weren't exactly fit for habitation. The lonely little beacon is placed inside one of these structures.
Of course, considering that there weren't any Autobots that had been spotted yet, it couldn't possibly be a trap. Or could it?
There's only one way to find out.

Stasrcream immediately angeled toward it, thinking a comrade in distress. But then he slowed down, and circled, reconsidering.
There was a 50/50 chance it was genuine or a trap; 50/50 chance Autobots were absent, or here and able to fake a Decepticon signal.
But to ignore it entirely...invited nothing, this was his only lead, there were no other alternatives.
Starscream stopped circling, and continued toward the beacon, even more on edge. Eventually he approached a set of ruined buildings. He saw here and there signs that they weren't completely abandoned, scenes of in-progress repair work.
The beacon transmitted from one of those buildings.
He circled it first. No one and nothing on the outside, the signal must be inside. His scans of the building turned up empty. Either there was an error with his systems, or whoever was inside was somehow shielding everything but their beacon...if they were truly in distress, they would only want to alert an ally to their location...but if it were a trap...unless the possible Decepticon-in-distress had something wrong with their systems, and their only way to get the right attention was through a beacon...or....
Starscream double checked the roof--no, unlike some other buildings, it was intact enough, lacking any gaps large enough for him to land through. There was a gaping hole in one of the building's walls that was large enough for him, but only if he transformed.
Loathing to do such a thing, but knowing he had little in the way of alternative action, Starscream transformed and landed on his feet. His claws shifted to blasters as he slowly entered the building, ready to shoot in the case of an ambush or put them away to aid a comrade.

The baton was awkward due to its size and her own inexperience in using one, but the fact it could immobilize if the full charge hit would hopefully make up for such if done correctly. Even with her own emotions raging over the fact that Starscream was here and endangering everyone just by his own actions was enough to almost make her want to take him out permanently. Even if something seemed odd about him that wasn't exactly adding up to her own personal files about him.
She could deal with such later when they found out if he was the only one here or not. For now she just needed him to come in far enough that he couldn't back out and fly away if she did miss with the first hit.

He'd save it as an option later, if this was all an ambush.
Still reluctant, Starscream continued on his way, optics roving around and sensors running at their highest capacity. He'd look up every so often. There'd been no gap for him to fly through, but he was still used to glancing up, as personal experience dictated. (How many times had he attacked from above?) And if an enemy were already here, there was, as far as he could see, spaces above to hide and wait from.
Starscream didn't dare call out for anyone, even if he felt he'd already crossed the line into a somewhat more open and vulnerable area.
Whoops I didn't see the replies, sorry for the delay!
No, he wasn't here for the primary attack. He was here as back-up. As soon as Starscream was ambushed by the more nimble scout, he'd move in from his position and block in the exit in case her initial strike failed.
The other baton was with him, and seemed more proportionate to someone of his size. One strike, that was all that was needed.

Trajectory and force is right on at the moment, but if he moves in a way she hadn't planned for he could slip past her in those precious few seconds as she brings the unfamiliar weapon back around for another strike.

(Right, Autobot ambush then, and he's fairly certain that was Arcee, fanfraggintastic.)

Trapped, unless the Decepticon thought to try and blow out another wall. Of course, that would mean keeping the fire off them and giving them an opening.
The other baton is held easily against his forearm as he takes cover behind a wall.

Blue optics narrowing as she resists the urge to follow instinct and fire a shot back. They needed answers and they wouldn't get that if she managed a shot they couldn't patch up on their own. Never mind the blinking light in her displays a grim reminder energon was even more precious a resource here then back on earth.
The baton is kept on now as there's no reason to waste time in switching it between live and dormant now.

Switching to his claws and sharpening them, Starscream dashed toward her, claws raised. Dealing with Arcee first.

He hovered by the entrance, keeping a sharp eye on the two. At the first sign that the fight was not going in their favor he'd jump in.

The baton up and the light sparking and hopefully enough to keep him from noticing if another light source appears, as she moves to block and keep his attention on her. Moving so he was facing away from the entrance. Though if Starscream proved as arrogant as normal and gave her an opening she'd take it as well.

The space between them was crossed.
Starscream's claws were raised--and he quickly struck with the sharp end of his foot instead.
