"It's my weapon." Haruto turned his sword-gun over in his hand as he spoke, leaning back against the wall again. Of course, he didn't know the specifics of his weapon or how it had been made. All he knew was that when he'd received the rest of his powers from the White Wizard that the sword-gun had been part of what he'd been able to access after the belt had been given to him.

He tilted his head to the side as he watched Otoya study the weapon, wondering why he was trying so hard to prove himself to someone. There were plenty of skeptics back where he came from. Maybe it was just to have the chance to talk to someone about what he was capable of. Being alone and away from everyone was something he seemed to be treating lightly, but it was tearing at him that he couldn't be back home. How was Koyomi doing? Would she be able to get enough mana? What about the Gates? Nitou could handle some of them, of course, but... If someone fell into despair because he was here...

Something like this was a welcome distraction. Focusing on something when he couldn't change anything else.
