Oh? Now that is interesting. Dun raises an eyebrow at Ryusei; he doesn't buy the kid's humble apology one bit. And he's fairly certain he had seen the makings of an arm block just now, right before the boy turned it into a useless gesture. The smile just grates on him; Dun dislikes flattery and insincere motives, and back in his world he's had to deal with enough self-serving civil officers who feign deference to gain his favour. If Kengo hadn't stepped in, Dun might've pursued the issue further. As it is, he's already in a less than pleasant mood and Kengo's offer of help isn't helping.
He's not a charity case. He can do it by himself.
"Let me get this straight. First you try and infiltrate my property. You then accuse me of engaging in suspicious and illegal activity. But now you're suddenly offering assistance while your friend here wants to leave."
Dun crosses his arms and shakes his head. "I don't trust the both of you and I don't see why I should accept your help. For all I know, you could have been hired by the mercenaries to spy on me." He wouldn't put it past them; while he's kept his head low for awhile, he'd be a fool to think that he'd been left off the hook.
