She was only a terrible liar when it came to him.It was something she knew, but that didn't stop her from trying. Anything to get this conversation to just stop. It wasn't working, though. She wasn't stupid. So she groaned, resigned.
"Great. Fine. Whatever." She turned her back to him, flipping her hand in the air over her shoulder, completely dismissive. "Why don't you just go, okay? I don't feel like talking anymore."
Later. Just... later. Later, she could hold a conversation with him. He could properly apologize and she'd properly hear him out. They could start patching things up. Right now, though, she was done.
