Before that last sentence even came out of his mouth, she could tell he was building up something to talk to her about. Then he went and confirmed it with said last sentence, and it was all she could do to keep from giving him a look that read, 'Yes? And?' Somehow she managed to restrain herself, but she still put a hand on her hip and gave him an expectant look, head tilted slightly to one side.
