Severa gave York a sidelong glance while she was filling the glasses, and a more direct one when one got placed in front of her. "Alien mead," she said flatly, kind of like she wanted to be surprised but knew that absolutely nothing would surprise her anymore around here. At least all that stupid admonishment was more or less over with.
Severa hadn't come here for any particular reason that she could recall. She'd just wanted some time away from Starscream and the squalor of her living conditions—compared to her apartment, the Quad was basically a palace. And she liked York's company, even with the whole parental... thing.
She shrugged her shoulders. "I wanted a change of scenery." Picking up the glass, she raised it to her nose in case it was something noxious. It smelled stronger than what little mead she'd had available to her back home, but it wasn't altogether unappetizing. She took a sip, just for taste.
Her face lit up with a smile almost involuntarily. This mead tasted really good. But it would be unladylike to chug it all down, no matter how much she wanted to.
