come right in and settle down. (CLOSED)
who. agents north dakota and carolina. (
noscope &
myturn)
what. these two are scavenging for a place to live! gasp!
where. the residential area so graciously supplied to them by miss aria t'loak herself.
when. shortly after their conversation in the intro log.
warnings. none! unless you count potential feels as a need for warning? hm.york and wash did you put that in your warning. i'm just asking.
It hadn't taken them very long to figure out that they were going to need a place to stay - and quickly, if they were going to get anything done other than standing around and trying to figure out just where they were.
No one had offered them much helpful information yet, and what with Aria telling them just where they could and couldn't go, there weren't many options. They had a certain area that they could scavenge through, and according to her, not a damn thing else was acceptable until that particular part of the station had been repaired. (Which, North supposed he could understand that, but he still wasn't so sure why this woman had to sound so .. angry about things all the time.
That was just something he was never going to know, he guessed.)
Shortly after their meeting at the landing pads, they decided that they really did need to find a place to stay - and whether this agent wanted to admit it or not, he was very much hoping that once they found something suitable, Carolina would agree to staying together.
Because it had been too long since he'd been able to spend some quality time with her, and he knew it was because of how hard she'd been pushing herself back on the Mother of Invention - so if he was perfectly honest with himself, he was seeing this little detour as a good thing. Whether it really was or not for everyone else, right now, he didn't much care. Just for the simple fact that it gave him some much-needed time alone with the other that he'd long since started to miss.
He was waiting for her just outside the first of the available residences, still in his armor but with his helmet held loosely in one hand at his side. In the back of his mind, Theta was still just as restless as he had been upon their arrival - and he'd yet been unable to do much to calm him down.
